For Georgia policymakers
Safe, affordable AI help for every Georgia educator
What PeachPilot does, how it protects student data, and how a district can try it at no cost.
Georgia law and FERPA
- Built to support districts under Georgia's Student Data Privacy, Accessibility, and Transparency Act (O.C.G.A. § 20-2-660 et seq.) and federal FERPA.
- Staff-only tool: students never sign in and no student accounts are created.
- Prompts and results are not used to train AI models, and are never sold or used for advertising.
- Districts set data retention, can export or delete their data, and sign a data privacy agreement.
Teacher time
- Estimate: 3–5 hours saved per teacher per week on lesson plans, family letters, sub plans, feedback, and paperwork.
- This is a planning estimate based on typical task times, not a measured result. Pilots measure actual time saved with before-and-after teacher surveys.
- Time returned to teachers speaks directly to burnout and teacher retention.
Cost
- $9 per teacher per month, or $79 per year. School and district pricing available.
- Compare: one part-time instructional aide costs a district tens of thousands of dollars a year; separate tools for lesson planning, translation, grading, and policy each carry their own license.
- One login covers 20+ assistants for teachers, counselors, front office, and leaders.
Rural districts
- Small districts rarely have staff to build or vet AI tools. PeachPilot arrives ready, aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence, Milestones, CCRPI, and CTAE.
- Works in any web browser — no servers, installs, or IT team required.
- Districts upload their own handbooks and get answers with page citations.
Safety
- No student chatbot.
- A warning appears before likely student names, IDs, or birthdates are sent, with one-click Anonymize.
- District administrators can see all activity in an activity log and choose which assistants each role can use.
